92 Miles for 60 Years of Freedom - Margo Reed
Six Tibetan men, who call themselves freedom fighters, started walking from Philadelphia to New York City Sunday March 3, 2019. They aimed to raise awareness for their relatives in Tibet, who have been under China's rule since 1949. The monks, who currently live in various parts of the Northeast U.S. and Canada, aimed to travel 15 miles per day during daylight hours, which was their way to honor their ancestors who made a pilgrimage across Tibet 60 years ago.
